Winter Art Festival 2010 opens at Uptown Gallery in Grand Haven Friday February 5, 4:30-8:00 with Awards announced at 7:00 pm.

Victoria Veenstra has two photographs in the show and rumor has it, one of them has won an award to be announced on Friday night.
Please join us at Uptown Gallery. There are several good restaurants nearby and an ice skating mini rink a block away on Washington St.
Dee-lite - has a nice array of sandwiches and salads, plus full dinners such as Grilled Salmon, Wild Mushroom in creamy sauce over pasta, etc. There is also a shushi bar and live music on weekends.
Snug Harbor - located on the river front with similar food as the Dee-lite with a bar.
Tip A Few _ popolar bar food with a Mexican flare.

or The Coffee Grounds for hot coffee, teas or cocoa
Italian coffee and great gelato at Stefanos
Fatoosh on US 31 and Beacon St. serves Middle Eastern fare
So take a trip out for a Friday night event on the lakeshore.
