Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography

We are please to announce a new art organization in metropolitan Detroit-Detroit Center for Contemporary Photograohy (DCCP). The inaugural opening is shceduled to take place on May 1st, 2010.

Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography was established in early 2010 in Pontiac, Michigan. DCCP is a collective of artists and educators that provide a supportive community for artists, and strive to send a positive message to the creative world. DCCP is a nonprofit institution which focuses on Contemporary Photography, and promotes the work of new and established artists with unique vision and creativity in working with all photographic media. DCCP strive to promote local and national artists, and the bring a deeper appreciation and understanding of photography though gallery exhibitions, online exhibitions, lectures, and forums.





Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography presents MAYDAY and exhibition featuring Images by three contemporary fine art photographers: Olaf Breuning, Yisook Sohn, and Woojin, Choi. The show opens on Saturday, May 1st with a reception from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The show continues, through May 29th.
