<br />Victoria Veenstra has work in <a href="http://greenliongallery.com/">The Green Lion Gallery</a>.
<br />
<br />Located on 150 E Fulton in Grand Rapids, MI, Victoria will be showing work with <a href="http://zettlesterling.com/">Renee Zettle-Sterling</a>.
<br />
<br />Victoria's work, <span style="font-style:italic;">The Conversation Series</span>, is a "chromagenic pinhole photographic series exploring the ebb and flow of conversations in monochromatic time between careers and life demands. A vusal quandary to the question 'what would a superwoman say if she had coffee with me today?' "
<br />
<br />Really great work so make sure you stop by if your in the area. The gallery hours are simple enough, Fridays 5pm-9pm and Saturday 12pm-5pm, with a closing reception August 27, 7-11pm.
<br />
<br />Sorry no images for the blog this time around, only a show card but that just means you'll have to come out to see the work in person and that's never a bad thing.

A huge thanks goes to <a href="http://jamesiska.com/">James Iska</a> for all the information he provided. He spent a large part of his day with us going over photography, art and the museum. He was extremely generous with his time and we cannot thank him enough.<br /><br />In addition, Kristina Jeluso was nice enough to snap a few shots from the day. All great stuff. I believe everyone is looking forward to the next time we can sneak away and look at some fantastic art.<br /><br />Cheers<br /><br />Photos by Kristina Jeluso<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JFkrM4DI/AAAAAAAAAUc/fCmHxWQsnUc/s400/_MG_1150.CR2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JFkrM4DI/AAAAAAAAAUc/fCmHxWQsnUc/s400/_MG_1150.CR2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JGIv3j6I/AAAAAAAAAUg/QXt5HVReGLA/s400/_MG_1199.CR2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JGIv3j6I/AAAAAAAAAUg/QXt5HVReGLA/s400/_MG_1199.CR2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JGZixBNI/AAAAAAAAAUk/_jIaRmtY78o/s400/_MG_1203.CR2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JGZixBNI/AAAAAAAAAUk/_jIaRmtY78o/s400/_MG_1203.CR2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JHBMI9FI/AAAAAAAAAUo/I3H47ioNyPk/s400/_MG_1213.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2JHBMI9FI/AAAAAAAAAUo/I3H47ioNyPk/s400/_MG_1213.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2KAB292qI/AAAAAAAAAUw/iSsPzSZGgGI/s400/_MG_1224.CR2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_sy4BQe3KpZE/TO2KAB292qI/AAAAAAAAAUw/iSsPzSZGgGI/s400/_MG_1224.CR2.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798942595558979567.post-84994971544437754222010-11-02T18:16:00.002-04:002010-11-02T18:16:50.763-04:00What are you doing on Dec. 4?How about taking the opportunity to give a little of yourself?<br /><br />http://help-portrait.com/Markhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14231787408693178403noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798942595558979567.post-82668343911353583252010-10-18T12:10:00.002-04:002010-10-18T12:16:57.860-04:00Guest Photographers Susan Carr and Gary CialdellaGuest Photographers Susan Carr and Gary Cialdella Itinerary:<br /><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Wednesday October 20th:</span><br /><br />3:00 - 4:15 pm Present Documentary Work in Professor Thompson's class, Social Eye, 114 LSH<br /><br /><br /><span style="font-weight:bold;">Thursday, October 21</span><br /><br />10:00 - 11:15 am Susan Carr and Gary Cialdella present large format images in Professors Rathbun's 4x5 Class - 114 LSH<br /><br />11:30 - 1:30 pm Lunch and informal discussion in conference room<br /><br />2:30 - 3:45 pm Presentation in Professor Smith's Class, Photo History 1, 174 LSH<br /> Presentation on Photographic Business practices, ASMP, Copyright<br /><br />4:00 - 5:15 pm Second Presetation in Professor Smith's, Photo History 1, 174 LSH<br /> Presentation different than the one at 2:30 pmUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8798942595558979567.post-88443774882820090822010-10-14T00:59:00.002-04:002010-10-14T01:02:04.886-04:00Visiting Artists: Susan Carr and Gary CialdellaMake sure you mark it on your calendars that <a href="http://www.carrcialdella.com">Susan Carr & Gary Cialdella</a> are going to be visiting the Grand Valley Photo Department next Wednesday and Thursday.<br /><br />Keep an eye out for an upcoming schedule of events and times to meet them and hear them speak.<br /><br />More to come soon...Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
